Excerpt taken from His Words, channeled by Rhonda O'Brien.
Breath is a very easy tool to use to get you into a relaxed state. If you imagine that the breath that you inhale and exhale travels through your body and reaches every particle of your body you are already there. So what I suggest is that you take a deep inhale; make it last as long as you comfortably can.As you inhale imagine a single molecule of that breath, it can be a bright light, a speck or any sort of shape and form that you can easily and effortlessly imagine, going from your lips and following your trachea and going through your shoulders, down your upper arms and down your lower arms and out through your fingertips. You should then imagine following the same path as you exhale.
With the next inhale you are going to follow that molecule and make it to your neck, your shoulders, your upper chest, your heart, your lungs, your chest, your abdomen, all of your upper and lower intestines and then your reproductive organs.
The more visual you become the easier it is for you to breathe and to relax. You do not need to get too, too technical here. If you don’t know exactly where your ovaries are it is fine. The visualization part is what matters most here. Then you want to imagine that molecule traveling the same path as you exhale and release that breath.
Good job, now we are going to inhale and this time the molecule will rapidly meet your thighs and then travel all the way down to your tippy toes and then right back up. While you are doing this I want you to start thinking of the world, the universe outside of yourself and I want you to be aware of the fact that you are infinitely connected with the rest of the universe outside of yourself. This can just extend to your family and friends or it can expand to the outer universe as far as the eye can see and beyond.
So with your next inhale I am going to have you take that molecule of breath, allow it to flow through your body, down to your toes and then down to the Earth. Depending on how deep your breath is it can reach the topsoil or even as far down as the mantle of the Earth.
Now the challenge is in your next breath you are going to inhale so much oxygen that you can reach the very center of the Earth. So as you are exhaling you are preparing for the gigantic inhale that you are about to take. With one, single breath you are going to pull that single molecule through your trunk of your body, down your legs, out your toes and to the central part of the Earth. Once you are at central part of the Earth you are going to sense, feel or just know that you are connected to the very core of our Mother Earth and then with your exhale you are going to follow that same path through the mantle, crust and up your toes, through your legs and on up your spine through your midriff, your chest, your neck and out through your lips.
Good job. Now take a few more shallow breaths to catch your breath. We do not want to pass out. Okay now one more time and then that is all. What you are going to do is connect with the universe outside of yourself and you are going to do so in a manner that only draws in the positive energies that you encounter.
So I will briefly describe what it is that you are to do and then you will follow through with my instructions. So what you are going to do is let go of your breath and allow it to take its own rhythm, relax and enjoy where it can take you but now we are going to be aware of the energy and the life that this breath allows you. Imagine that seed of energy in the pit of your belly or somewhere around your center. Allow it to be a ball of light or some source of energy that feels light, free, refreshing and healing.
Imagine as you are breathing in that cool, refreshing light that that light grows and it grows and it grows as though it were a bubble or a flower or a leaf or whatever image works for you. Imagine that as you breath in and out it grows larger and larger and larger until it is flooding your whole body or being with that light. Now allow it to also grow because light attracts light and now your light is attracting all of the light and the love and the peace that is you and that surrounds you and so your entire being is encompassed by this light and due to its refractive and reflective nature that light becomes so huge that all that you are and all that surrounds you is this light. And it is you. And it is you.
Now sit back and enjoy this light. This is all of the love and the light and the joy and the peace that is you and now it also encompasses the world beyond. Now what you are going to do is draw your attention back into your body, so imagine that bright, large light that encompasses all concentrating itself into a ball about the size of your fist and as you inhale you will gradually bring that ball back and in and to your center. This can take several breaths so breathe in and follow the path through your palette, down your windpipes and on down to your center. This can take as little or as long as you feel necessary.
Now what we also need to do at this point is extinguish anything on the inside or on the outside that is not light so continue to breath in the light and ask that the light naturally follow the path to the spots or the places in your body that might need the light. Now there may not be the need for any light in any place in one’s body and so if that is the case then be grateful. As you exhale ask that the exhale bring anything that is not light to the outside of the body where it instantly becomes light in the presence of all of the light that is reflected and retracted by the light within.
So we are going to sit with this relaxation exercise for a few more minutes. (It really can last as little or as long as you would like). Typically I would wait until you are really feeling relaxed and quite removed from your worries and almost as if you are disengaged from the rambling of the mind. What you want is for the chatter to stop so the vibrations, the naturally occurring airwaves, can be received and heard by the vessel that is you.
Your hands are just like the wheels on a typewriter, they are just responding to the messages or the orders that tell them which letters to strike onto the paper that is yours. It is no more than being a transcriptionist. It is just like you are the receiver receiving the signals that are the air or radio waves.
On the count of ten we are to begin. You can begin to count slowly in your mind, when you get to three you are going to say, is “one is all and all is one,” and then with the pen or pencil in hand you will begin to write. If nothing comes to your mind then ask that the image or the sound or the mark come to you quite easily and without effort and that maybe you will or will not understand its meaning but you will appreciate all that there is.
Some of you may prefer to put your writing utensil in your other hand. This allows the thinking mind to rest as it gets over stimulated and it cannot control the mind, as it is more concerned about writing the letters or creating and its new challenges “at hand.” Whatever you do, whatever method you choose do it with relative ease. While it is tempting to expect great works of art to come through immediate effort it really is not practical to expect so much.

"Stop looking for something out there and begin looking within." ~RumiMeditation is not hard. It is just a matter of discipline. It takes the discipline to actually meditate. I recommend setting small, achievable goals at first. For instance, make it a goal to meditate 10 minutes a day and then schedule this time into your day. It also takes the discipline to clear your mind of any thoughts which can be difficult because the mind tends to wonder. I have listed a few hints that have helped me to clear my mind of the clutter in order to grasp the sweet treats of meditation.
1. Stare at the flame of a candle.
2. Say “om mani padme” over and over again.
3. Draw two dots (about one inch apart) on a piece of paper. Bring your focus to the two dots. Try, as hard as you can to focus on the two dots simultaneously while meditating.
4. Concentrate on your breathing; count to three on your inhale and three on your exhale.
5. Use the meditation YouTube videos available online. I use several, interchangeably just to mix it up. You can find a large selection by going to YouTube and using key words like “meditation,” “mandalas,” etc. These are great because they have mandalas and trance-inducing videos along with relaxing music which really accelerate your level of relaxation.
6. I picture Buddha and I focus on how relaxed he/she is and then I “model” the level of relaxation. In other words I focus on how relaxed Buddha is and I try to bring my consciousness to that same level of relaxation.7. Walking a labrynth gets you into a meditative state. Usually I like to start the walking the labrynth with a question in my head and upon completion I usually gain some sort of insight regarding the problem/issue/question.

Deeper Understanding Meditation

Have you ever had a challenging situation that you want to understand from a deeper, more spiritual level? I believe that we are all spirit beings having a physical experience. With that in mind I also believe that all we are here to learn and that some of the most challenging people/situations are actually great learning experiences.
What This Meditation Does
Deep breathing gets you into a meditative state which allows you to see your situation from a detached perspective where you are better able to access the “spiritual lesson” beneath the current challenge.
How to Do the Meditation
Sit in a comfortable position and follow these instructions. Make sure that you have a writing utensil and a notebook nearby so that you may record your observations.
1. Bring your attention to your solar plexus (or right beneath your belly button).
2. Take 10 d-e-e-p, slow breaths, focusing on the inhale and the exhale.
3. Now bring your attention to a situation that you do not understand, that you would like to have deeper insight as to why things are occurring the way that they are in this particular situation.
4. Put this person, situation, thing inside a bubble.
5. Now fill this bubble with a bright, bright light.
6. Keep filling the bubble with as much light as you possibly can. Think of no limits to how bright this situation can be.
7. Now expand the light as far out in space as you possibly can. Again think of no limitations of how far out this situation can expand.
8. Ask “what is the reason behind this situation?” until you sense an emptiness. Listen and pay close attention to what thoughts, feelings and/or emotions release themselves.
9. Ask if there is any additional insight that you can receive in regard to the particular person and/or situation.
10. Fill this bubble with more light and send the bubble to the person, situation and/or thing.
11. Surround yourself with a light bubble and expand this light as far as you can beyond your aura and beyond.
12. Write down what information you do receive and review it later. It might take some time and distance to fully comprehend the situation from this elevated perspective.
13. Thank your guides for the information.

Love Meditation

I received this meditation in response to my question as to why I don’t have more love in my life. My take on this response is that in order to have love in your life you must be love, more loving, give more love and respond with love as often as possible. Take five deep breaths counting to three on both the inhale and exhale.
Pay attention to the spot in between your eyebrows (or your “third eye”).
Now focus on a spot in front of you that becomes this vast open space or void. I saw it as a single spot in front of me with nothing but space surrounding me.
Move your consciousness/attentiong to the vast, open void in front of you.
Take three d-e-e-p breaths.
Focus on your heart. Now focus on sending love from your heart center out into the universe. Make sure that you are putting a lot of energy into this love that you are sending out.
Notice that this love rebounds and comes back to you.
Focus on your heart again and send out as much love to the universe as you can. You can say “love” as you are doing this.
Notice as the love comes rebounding back to you.
Continue to send out as much love as you can. Then notice as the love comes back to you.
Continue to do this until your feel your energy rising; you might start vibrating with this increase in energy or just feeling more alive and or awake. There is no limit to how long you can focus on this love; just make sure that you notice that your energy field is rising.
Now focus on your heart and all of that love inside this area of your body.
Bring that love from your heart, down your stomach, lower back and your legs all the way down to your toes. Let the energy touch the ground.
Then bring that love back up your toes, through your legs, thighs, stomach, chest, shoulders, down each arm and then back up through your shoulders, neck, face and out the top of your head.
Let the energy shoot out the top of your head and then send the energy back down your head, your neck, shoulders and center, again, on your heart.
Now ask from a higher point of knowledge if there is anything that you can do, in this moment to send more love out into the world. Write down any information that you receive. It is also best to act, immediately, on any information that you do receive.
Remember that psychic information comes from your heart. If you are trying to grow your intuition doing this meditation on a weekly basis will help.

I am seeing that 2009, for many, is a year of getting rid of the old or what is not working and making room for what does work. Once you realize this it tends to make the shedding process a little bit easier. It is much like a snake shedding its old, out-moded skin.
I have included this meditation/cleansing exercise that I have channeled to help you through this process.
Take approximately 15 min/week to do this meditation to ease your transition into a newer, brighter you.
· Notice how you are feeling before and after this meditation.
· While focusing on how you feel create a bubble around yourself.
· Inhale d-e-e-p-l-y and exhale d-e-e-p-l-y into the bubble until you feel “empty.”
· When you feel empty ask yourself to be drawn to a part of the bubble that draws your attention.
· Focus on how you feel when near this area of the bubble. Inhale d-e-e-p-l-y and exhale fully expanding the way you feel (i.e. exaggerate that feeling as much as you can).
· Continue to d-e-e-p-l-y inhale and exhale d-e-e-p-l-y making sure to really exaggerate the way that you feel on the exhale. Do this until you feel empty (a sense of calm, peace or nothingness).
· Fill your bubble with a color, any color. Focus on how it feels to be surrounded by this color or ray of light energy. Throughout the day remember to remind yourself that you are surrounded by this ray of light energy, focusing on the color and how you feel surrounded by this bubble.

Gratitude Meditation

My focus for this month is on gratitude as we approach two holidays of gratitude, giving and family. The first is Thanksgiving, of course. Take yourself back to the first American Thanksgiving meal. Half of the original New England population died in the winter of 1620. Following this tragedy the pilgrims forged a relationship with the Wampanoag tribe who taught them to fish, plant and hunt. By the autumn of 1621 the community had gathered enough food to get them through the winter. In celebration of their bounty they invited the Wampanoag tribe to feast with them for three days. How would you feel at that moment as you sat down at the table with your bounty surrounded by friends, family and neighbors who were resonating at that same degree of gratitude? Imagine the magnitude of that first “thanks giving.” (I get chills when I think about it).
Now take yourself back to a moment that you might have had that same level of gratitude. It might have been that moment that you realized that your love relationship was “love,” the moment that your lost puppy was found, or it may have been that moment that you reached a major landmark in your own life.
Feel that gratitude as you inhale and as you exhale exaggerate that feeling of gratitude as far as you can. Imagine it expanding out of your body and beyond. Now inhale that gratitude and exhale the gratitude exaggerating the level of gratitude beyond your body and beyond. Now one more time.
Feel your gratitude. Now inhale that gratitude and imagine exhaling it into a bubble. Inhale that gratitude and exhale it into the bubble two more times. Now send that bubble to someone, something or to some situation.
You can do this as many times as you like; feel free to extend the gratitude bubble to as many people/things/situations as you like.
Remember you are love.
